Yachting NSW Committee's
Yachting NSW has a number of committees in place assist with the business of Yachting NSW.
Below you will find a brief description for each committee in Yachting NSW as well as the terms of reference for each committee.
There is also a diagram at the bottom of this page that demonstrates the Yachting NSW committee structure.
Major Events
The Events Committee is responsible for attracting and hosting major yachting regattas and events to the State of NSW that promote the sport through participation or competition, both through member yacht clubs and on behalf of YNSW in its own right, and, to provide assistance to other organizing authorities (of major regattas) in NSW.

Participation Committee
The Participation Committee is responsible for attracting new members to the sailing community and providing relevant structure that promotes the sport through participation or competition, both through member yacht clubs and on behalf of YNSW.

Racing Rules
The Racing Rules Committee is the State representative for implementing the Racing Rules of Sailing, hearing appeals, vetting race documents, acting as race officials at sanctioned events and provides feedback on proposed rule changes.

Special Regulations Committee
This Committee implements the national safety standards and provides feedback on new standards or initiatives.
Officials Committee
The Officials Committee is responsible for education, accreditation and management of volunteer officials (Umpires, Judges and Race Officers), vetting race documents, acting as race officials at sanctioned events and provides feedback on the National Officiating Program.
