Membership of Yachting NSW is only available to clubs.
Sailing is a sport that relies on clubs to run races and their members’ activities. In order for clubs to be able to provide you services, they rely on membership contributions from individuals.
It is also a requirement of the Racing Rules of Sailing that any sailor that sails in more than three races in any one sailing season, shall be a member of a Club affiliated with Yachting NSW .
Sailing is no different to other sports that relies on member contributions to fund its operations and the amdministration and development of the sport.
Yachting NSW does not charge a fee for YA Silver cards. As a member of a club affiliated with YNSW you are entitled to a YA Silver Card. If you do not wish to join an existing club but still require a Silver Card, Yachting NSW Crew Club is available to you. Click here to join Crew Club.
Yachting NSW strongly encourage individuals to join one of our sailing clubs.
