 Yachting NSW Winter Training ProgramWhat is it?
The Winter Training Program is designed to provide training for all classes, at all skill levels throughout the winter for youth sailors.
The Objectives:
The program is intended to maintain and develop skills so that they are not “re learnt” when the summer season commences.

The Winter Training Program provides mentored training for young adults who are completing their Instructor/Coach Qualifications as well as giving clubs a platform to pursue greater interaction with other clubs within their region. In the three years the program has been run, the program has grown substantially and now covers Upper Sydney Harbour, Northern Sydney Harbour, Southern Sydney and Lake Macquarie.
Yachting NSW encourage all clubs within participating regions to make use of the program for their youth sailors. The Winter Training Program is class inclusive so all youth sailors are invited to participate no matter what class they sail. Gill Australia will once again support the Winter Training Program and in addition to the daily lunch and coaching covered by the entry fee, Gill supply a program T-Shirt for all participants.

To be determined by Head Coach / Mentor with Host Club to suit local conditions – confirmed to participants prior to first training session 8:00am - Coaches briefing, Days schedule, Allocation of groups
