Why should your club affiliate with Yachting NSW?
As an affiliate club of Yachting NSW you receive many benefits designed to enhance your experience of - and lower your cost of participation in - the sport of sailing. These include access to administrative advice and support, and assistance with skill development.
Affiliation also allows your club to take part in national and international competition, by allowing you to conduct events and races under Yachting Australia and International Sailing Federation (ISAF) rules and regulations.
A further benefit: Every member of a NSW sailing club is entitled to a Silver Card which gives you personal and accident insurance cover whether racing, cruising, volunteering or officiating. This card identifies you as a member of an affiliated club complying with RRS 46 and 56 allowing skippers and crew to sail in more than three officially sanctioned races
