Learn to Sail Resource Library

Learn to Sail programs are often the most accurate indicator of a clubs future health, and as a result Yachting NSW has developed a suite of documents to serve as a guide for clubs to implement and run Learn to Sail programs.

YNSW can provide your club the support it needs to either review your existing LTS program or help you develop a new program. The documents cover all aspects of Learnt to Sail Programs to varying levels of detail and will serve as an excellent starting point for clubs looking to increase participation and membership.

These resources have been developed by YNSW staff and senior instructors with valuable input which represents best practice and experience from a number of clubs including Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Lane Cove 12’SSC, Northbridge SC, St. George SC and Woollahra SC.

The library is structured to provide varying levels of detail depending on your specific needs. Start with the program overview to ensure that you have clearly identified the clubs goals, and then continue with the implementation and daily management documents, or select a specific topic from the supplements. Whether you are refining an existing program, or building one from scratch, the library will provide you with the information that you need. Follow the links and buttons below to select a document.
