MYC are seeking experienced Junior Sailing Instructors to lead and assist in with the MYC Juniors Coaching and Racing Program held on weekends throughout the summer. MYC Juniors http://myc.org.au/racing/juniors/juniors.shtml is a program which will coach junior sailors who have reached or surpassed Basic Skills 1 level of the YA “Get into Small Boat Sailing” scheme. It is designed to do the following:

- Provide kids with time on the water to build their sailing confidence and competence towards racing – this is the Racers squad

- Provide a competitive racing series for those juniors ready for racing while retaining the coaching element to continue development of skills – this is the Racers squad.

The program is overseen by the MYC board and Sailing Committee and managed and administered by parent and club volunteers. The program will run every Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning for 3-4 hours in terms 4 and 1 of the school year.
